On 10 June, 13.00-15.00 CEST, Water Europe will host the high-level online event ‘Water Resilience Strategy: Building a Water-Smart Economy in Europe‘ to unpack the European Water Resilience Strategy and its implications for Europe’s economic and environmental future. With opening remarks from the European Commission, Pernille Weiss-Elher, Member of the Cabinet of Commissioner Roswall, will present the new Strategy, setting the political direction for the European water legislation.
A multi-stakeholder panel, bringing together different voices from the water sector: Bentley, AERZEN, Hydraloop, and ECOLAB, will debate how implement this strategy and its solutions to build a Water-Smart Economy. As Europe faces several climate and resource pressures, this Strategy marks a turning point to revalue water as a driver of resilience, security, and economic renewal.
