Today, 27th of November 2024, the European Parliament officially approved the new College of Commissioners with a majority of 370 votes. This marks a significant opportunity for the European Commission to advance green competitiveness, reinforce Europe’s strategic autonomy, and highlight the social, environmental, and economic value of water.
Water Europe welcomes the new Commission and is eager to collaborate, particularly with Commissioner Roswall, in implementing the Water Resilience Strategy.
