Share

In a joint statement, eighteen European Technology Platforms (ETPs) have called on the European Commission to reaffirm and strengthen their support for ETPs in the upcoming EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP10), set to succeed Horizon Europe. The undersigned ETPs emphasize their crucial role in enhancing Europe’s public and private research and innovation (R&I) outcomes, fostering strategic alignment, and ensuring impactful implementation of research results across the EU.

Since their establishment in 2003, ETPs have acted as public-private multi-actor platforms around pivotal technology and innovation areas, focusing on aligning research priorities to address Europe’s complex challenges. With a strong emphasis on implementation and innovation transfer, ETPs bring together a diverse range of EU actors to develop strategic R&I agendas, roadmaps, and actionable insights that benefit both the EU and national levels.
