Hamilton Conference Centre, Brunel University of London Uxbridge Campus, Kingston Ln, Uxbridge UB8 3PH

The iWAYS final conference, taking place on 28 June 2025 as part of SEEP, will convene stakeholders from policy, research, and industry to explore integrated approaches to heat, water, and material recovery in energy-intensive sectors. As a Horizon 2020 project supported by the A.SPIRE Public-Private Partnership, dedicated to advancing resource and energy efficiency in the process industries, iWAYS has developed practical solutions aimed at recovering heat, reducing water use, and minimising waste emissions.

The programme reflects on the project’s main technological achievements, including advancements in Heat Pipe systems, surface coatings, simulation tools, and decision-support mechanisms, while also addressing their practical deployment and market potential. Sessions will examine how industrial innovation can be scaled through policy alignment, investment readiness, and cross-sector collaboration. Contributions from other EU-funded projects and industry leaders will provide wider context and connections, making the event a valuable opportunity to reflect on how iWAYS outcomes can support Europe’s sustainability and circularity goals in the long term.
