Water Europe hosts a high-level online event to unpack the European Water Resilience Strategy and its implications for Europe’s economic and environmental future. With opening remarks from the European Commission, Pernille Weiss-Elher, Member of the Cabinet of Commissioner Roswall, will present the new Strategy, setting the political direction for the European water legislation.
The event will also feature the launch of Water Europe’s White Paper, “Advancing Investment in Water Resilience: A Strategic Pathway towards a Water-Smart Society and Economy,” presented by Magdalena Rzeckowska, WE Expert Group leader on Finance & Water.
A multi-stakeholder panel, bringing together different voices from the water sector: Bentley, AERZEN, Hydraloop, and ECOLAB, will debate how implement this strategy and its solutions to build a Water-Smart Economy. As Europe faces several climate and resource pressures, this Strategy marks a turning point to revalue water as a driver of resilience, security, and economic renewal.
