First Session on April 29th to Focus on Enhancing Impact and Collaboration within the Growing WOLL Network

The Water4All Partnership, co-funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe, today announced the launch of its Water-Oriented Living Labs (WOLLs) Network Webinar Series. This initiative aims to build a robust, collaborative European network dedicated to accelerating water innovation and contributing to a Water-Smart Society.

The inaugural webinar, titled “Connecting WOLLs – Enhancing Impact and Collaboration,” is scheduled for April 29, 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 CET.

Addressing mounting environmental and societal pressures on water resources requires systemic change and broad stakeholder cooperation. Water4All is committed to driving this transformation by fostering the co-creation and implementation of innovative water solutions. Central to this effort are Water-Oriented Living Labs (WOLLs) – real-life environments where diverse actors collaborate to tackle local water challenges.

Under its Pillar D, Water4All is actively consolidating a structured network of these WOLLs. The new webinar series serves as a key tool in this effort, providing dedicated spaces for structured exchange, shared learning, and mutual support among WOLL practitioners, researchers, public authorities, financiers, and other stakeholders.

The first webinar, “Connecting WOLLs – Enhancing Impact and Collaboration,” will delve into:

– The strategic vision for the Water4All WOLLs Network.
– The crucial role of collaboration in addressing complex water challenges.
– Practical tools for alignment and impact measurement, including the Water-Smart Principles and the Harmonization Cube.
– Real-world case studies showcasing WOLL implementation, impact measurement, and monitoring.
– Discussion on success factors and common challenges, such as stakeholder engagement and resource constraints.
– A dedicated session on funding strategies, exploring grants, partnerships, and financial performance, featuring expert insights and a Q&A segment.
– Key takeaways and a preview of subsequent webinars in the series.

Interested participants can register for the first webinar here.
