For the first time, Water Market Europe (WME) will take place in Girona, Spain on March 27. Co-organized by Water Europe and supported by the EU-funded MULTISOURCE project, the event will focus on how we can advance nature-based solutions for Water-smart cities. Nature-based Solutions (NbS) are essential for addressing pressing water challenges, as they enhance resilience, improve water quality, and support the transition to climate neutrality and a circular economy.
The European Green Deal aims for climate neutrality and a circular economy by 2050, emphasizing Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in urban water management. The MULTISOURCE project is championing this approach by developing innovative urban wastewater treatment models. Co-organised together with Water Europe , the event will provide a dynamic platform to address urban water challenges and promote NbS adoption.
