Established in 1991, T.E. Laboratories Ltd (TelLab) is a SME, driven by a passion for chemistry and innovation. This drive and passion has continued for the past 30 years, and through a series of acquisitions and organic growth, is today a multi-divisional company, focused on laboratory analysis services, laboratory chemicals, water and wastewater research and new product development.

Its new product development has resulted in the successful launch of the Aquamonitrix® Nitrate/Nitrite Analyser which provides automated real time measurements, suitable for use in water treatment plants, industrial plants, catchment management and aquaculture.

Our Aquamonitrix® Next Generation Nitrate and Nitrite Analyser has been demonstrated to have an accuracy and precision of over 90% in trials coordinated by the US EPA.

TelLab has a number of other real-time nutrient analysers in its product development and has participated in 14 EU funded projects: 1 Life project as coordinating beneficiary and 13 FP7/H2020 projects including a H2020 SME Instrument, Phase 2 project, as the sole participant. Additionally, Tellab has just been successful in securing funding from the Australian Research Council for a Linkage Project with the University of Tasmania, providing us with expertise and resources to accelerate our water sensor technology development.

In addition to Aquamonitrix®, as part of our Environmental laboratory portfolio, we prepare, supply and analyse Chemcatcher® passive samplers and are involved in projects with National University Ireland, Galway and Teagasc, the Irish Agriculture Food Development Authority.
