The Director-General Research & Innovation has released a new independent expert report on the role of nature-based solutions in the transition towards a nature positive economy.
It addresses knowledge gaps in the potential economic benefits of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and the challenges, that Nature-Based Enterprises (NBE) are facing.
Moreover, the report examines some of the key issues confronting stakeholders, including ‘greenwashing’ and provides recommendations on how to realise the transition to a nature positive economy with NBS and NBE at the core. More details at the official press release.
