As part of the World Water Week 2024, taking place under the theme “Bridging Borders: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future,” Water Europe is organising a session dedicated to the Water-Oriented Living Labs (WOLLs) on the 26th of August. This session seeks to showcase how WOLLs, through their thematic and problem-oriented approach, territorial linkage, quadruple helix collaboration model, and robust governance structures, and network under the Water4All EU co-funded partnership play a pivotal role in addressing pressing challenges to the water ecosystem security.
By emphasizing the collaborative efforts needed to achieve a Water-Smart Society where water is secure, sustainable, and resilient, the session aims to inspire stakeholders to engage in transformative change actions that contribute to a peaceful and sustainable future for communities and nations worldwide. Through insightful discussions and real-life examples, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how WOLL initiatives align with the broader goals of World Water Week 2024, fostering cross-border cooperation and innovation to ensure water security and resilience on a global scale.
