The ZeroPollution4Water Cluster is thrilled to announce its participation in the upcoming EU Green Week with two significant events aimed at tackling water pollution and climate change challenges.

On June 6th, the cluster will host a public webinar titled “Climate Change and Groundwater: Resilience Building, Adaptation, and Mitigation Strategies.” This event, organised by the UPWATER, NINFA Project, and Mar2protect, will focus on the groundwater challenges faced in the Lisbon and Barcelona areas. The webinar will feature multiple keynote speakers and round table discussions, offering valuable insights into resilience-building and adaptation strategies for groundwater management. Interested participants can find more details about the agenda here. The registration link is available here.

Following this, on June 11th, another impactful event, “Public Debate and Raising Awareness on DBPs: Guidance on Measures, Policy, and Public Engagement – Everything You Wanted to Know About DBPs,” will take place. This webinar will highlight the challenges of drinking water quality, organized by H2OforAll, intoDBP EU, and SafeCREW projects. The agenda includes introductions to these projects, a public debate on the future of chlorination in water treatment, and a panel discussion on practical steps for protecting drinking water from disinfection byproducts (DBPs). A preliminary agenda is available here. Registration will open soon.

Both events promise to foster greater awareness and engagement on critical water issues, contributing to the EU’s Zero Pollution ambition. Join these webinars to collaborate on ensuring safer, cleaner water for all.
