EJWP
In collaboration with Nationaal Watertraineeship, Wetskills, Isle and Water Footprint Implementation, Water Europe supports the European Junior Programme. Our organisation works towards advancing the young professionals’ point of view at EU level through a range of activities, e.g active involvement in Water Innovation Europe conference. We also cooperate closely with the group to address the Human Capital challenges the European water sector faces. We think it is important to invest on the skills of the future to achieve a Water Smart Society and it is for this purpose that we are participating in this programme.
It aims to build a community of young European water management professionals who share a deep commitment to addressing today’s and future water and climate change issues. The objective is to provide participants with the tools, the skills and the appropriate cocreation and cooperation network to find new solutions and share knowledge for the purpose of creating and maintaining a sustainable and safe water management system in Europe.
The European Junior Water Programme offers Young professionals (2-8 years of work experience) a unique opportunity to learn essential teamwork and collaboration skills and to build valuable networks at an early stage in their careers.
The integration of European water management is of vital importance for achieving a Water Smart Society. For this purpose, the people behind EJWP build bridges between people and organizations, always looking for opportunities to work together on new innovations in the development of talented people and the water sector in which they work.
