The Horizon 2020 EU Project SIM4NEXUS launched a policy brief with eight policy coherence recommendations to the European Green Deal.
The main recommendations address areas with the highest potential gains, including bioenergy, nature-based solutions, the common agricultural policy (CAP) reform, and the overall policy process. The recommendations are illustrated with SIM4NEXUS case studies.
SIM4NEXUS has accompanied the launch of the European Green Deal as a means to improve coherence and synergies between the different EU policies. Over the past three years, the SIM4NEXUS project has aimed for a similar purpose, based on 12 case studies at regional, national, EU and global levels.
